Welcome 2010 PJHSA Junior Exhibitor Reps

The Penn Jersey Horse Show Association board would like to welcome you as a new Junior Exhibitor rep.  We look forward to helping you learn about us and have you take part in the planning that goes on behind the scenes for our horse shows, banquets and other events.  Here is some basic information to help you get started and join us.

We have had Jr. Reps for a long time as part of the board, but starting in 2010 we are looking to enhance the positions and have you play a more significant role with the senior members. 

As a Jr Rep we will be looking for you to help with the following:

Attend 6 of our 12 meetings.

Help with at least one of our schooling shows.

Serve as a ribbon runner, secretary or other assistant for one of our PJHSA Shows.

For completing the above tasks the board will be awarding you with a token of participation at the 2010 annual banquet. 

Our meetings are on the first Monday of each month at 7 PM.  We meet at Pizza Village in Egypt off of Rte 329.  The restaurant closes at 9 PM and most of our meetings are finished at about 8:30PM. 

Some of the rewards of helping and serving on the board are, you will see and have a better understanding of what goes on with scheduling horse shows, picking awards, meeting more members and sharing your ideas.   We would like this program to be a positive experience and fun for you to learn.  So we look forward to having you and please bring your ideas and encourage your friends to join.
